Each AOBox subscription has quotas for the following resources:
- guests: the number of guests you can invite to access your AOBox shared folders
- shared folders: the number of folders you can share with your guests
- monthly traffic: the monthly traffic of files downloaded and uploaded by your guests
Important: Quotas are calculated for your entire subscription, according to the number of licenses you have purchased. They are not calculated for individual users. For example, if you have three licenses and 30 folders available in your subscription plan and one user shares 28 folders, the other users will be able to share only one folder each.
What happens when you reach your quota for a resource?
When you reach your quota for a given resource, you can’t use any more of that resource. Only the AOBox subscription manager can add resources.
When you try to use a resource that has reached its quota:
- if you’re an owner, you’re prompted to contact the AOBox subscription manager
- if you’re a guest, you’re prompted to contact the owner of the shared folder
Example: the quota for number of shared folders has been reached
In the example below, the number of shared folders quota has been reached. When you try to add another shared folder, an information message appears.
-
If you’re an owner, press Contact admin to send an email to your AOBox subscription manager.
-
If you’re the AOBox subscription manager, press Manage subscription to access your AOBox subscription management interface in My Account.
Example: the quota for number of guests has been reached
In the example below, the quota for the number of unique guests has been reached.
As an owner, when you try to share a folder with an additional guest, the following message appears.
Tip: If required, you can press Manage users to remove guests from this folder.
Notes:
- When owners share folders with guests, a banner indicates when there are 5 or fewer guests.
- If you’re an owner and the AOBox subscription manager, when you share folders with guests, you can always see the number of remaining guests.
